Throughout the last few years Syrian students, within an entirely new environment, have slowly been integrating into the learning environment of Turkey, however, Syrian students still, to this day, face numerous challenges and difficulties. They usually arise as issues with language, culture or social integration.
Therefore WATAN carried out an overall survey on the needs of Syrian students who are studying in public schools in Turkey.
The survey was aimed at:
• Syrian students in Turkey from year one to year twelve
• Guardians of the pupils
• Turkish teachers who are teaching said pupils
