Interactive programs for children: guided entertainment and temporary solutions

WATAN has been organising interactive, online workshops for children

Due to the restrictions caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic, children have been forced to stay at home which is a difficult situation for both the parent and children alike.

And so in co-operation with Öğrenme Tasarımları/Learning Design, WATAN organised interactive learning activities for Children under lockdown. These online workshops were held for Syrian Children (ages 8-12) living in Turkey. Each child who participated had the chance to partake in 3 different workshop run by professional trainers.
The Workshops on offer were as follows:

  1. Storytelling (describing emotions)
  2. Origami
  3. Scientific Experiments
  4. Bracelet making
  5. Basic Drawing
  6. Juggling
